Personal statement
I have been active in the WSIS process from the start and has helped form the Arab Caucus and is currently its facilitator. I have also attended ICANN conference in Shanghai, China and am following on governance issues since that time.
I belong to civil society. I founded and am facilitator of the Arab Caucus, and am member of the Human Rights Caucus. My organization is Virtual Activism in the United States, and Center for Knowledge Society in Cairo. I am Egyptian. I speak Arabic, English and French.
